Day 6: The First Day of the Rest of My Life…

Day 5: Livin’ the Dream.
Well, I made the mistake of going to bed at 8:30pm and so I ended up waking up about 4am this morning. I popped a TylenolPM and quickly passed out until 10:30am. Haha. Things are going well so far, but the voltage/converter thing is quickly becoming a problem. My straightener already died, and this morning Allison’s hairdryer breathed its last as well. Day 4: I’m in LOVE, I’m in LOVE, and I don’t care who knows it!
So…I’m in love. We moved to Bangkok Christian College today, and it’s absolutely unbelievable. As soon as we walked in the gates we were greeted by hundreds of screaming, playing, amazing Thai boys! Day 3: This peanut even tastes like THAI! (vomit)
Ok, so I for sure feel like death. I threw up today…and I’ve officially decided that I can NOT eat Thai food. Even the smell makes me want to vomit. Day 2: Spoiled Brats & Permanently Messed Up Kankles.
Oh. My. Gosh. Today was unreal! Dr. Higginbotham (aka: Mama Jo) spoiled the CRAP out of us! Day 1: 24 hours later…we’re in Thailand!
Well, we just got to Bangkok, and the Thailand journey begins!!!!! The 23 hour trip was sooooo long! I absolutely love planes and airports, but I must say, my kankles are unbelievably huge, and our luggage got lost. BOO! We took a taxi to our hotel and had to split up…I can already tell it’s going to frustrate the crap out of me not being able to communicate. At least in Hispanic countries, I can understand people and relatively get my point across in return. But THAI??? No way…...
